Thomas J. Erker

Thomas J. Erker, now retired, was known as an aggressive, effective, and professional trial attorney since 1982. After starting his career as a Johnson County, Kansas Assistant District Attorney in 1982, Tom was in private practice since 1985, representing many individuals in families in criminal and family law cases.

Tom’s relentless hard work and well-developed trial skills benefited numerous clients facing serious criminal charges such as homicide and felony DUI. His extensive trial practice, especially in felony and DUI defense, was bolstered by the development of new defenses and strategies applied throughout every stage of a case to defend his clients.

After practicing law for almost forty years and training many lawyers, including his son, Ryan, Tom was excited to expand his time away from the office with family, travel, and the great outdoors.
